Recipe - Spiced Chicken Breast
Spiced Chicken Breast by Foodland Recipe Kitchen

Ingredients
- ½ cup coconut yoghurt
- Juice and zest of 1 lemon
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground white pepper
- 1 teaspoon harissa
- 4 organic chicken breast fillets

Instructions
1. Place the following ingredients in a large snap lock bag – coconut yoghurt, lemon juice and zest, garlic and spices and mix together.
2. Lay the chicken breasts on chopping board and cut in half through the centre to butterfly. Cutting this way gives a good result when cooking.
3. Add the chicken to the yoghurt marinade, seal and move around to ensure all the chicken is covered in the marinade. Seal and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
4. Preheat oven to 180°C.
5. Line a baking tray with baking paper and place the chicken on the tray and bake in oven for 15 minutes. If you need extra colour on the chicken turn oven to fan grill and allow the chicken to brown for approximately 5 minutes.
6. This recipe is suitable for barbeque cooking, having it sealed in the zip lock bag making it easy to transport.
