Foodland’s Fringe Picks – Week 2

We’re halfway through the Adelaide Fringe and have loved seeing the city be brought to life during this fantastic time of year. Last week, were proud to launch ‘Foodland’s Fringe Picks’ across our socials – thank you to The Glory Jays and The CAST for sharing all the details about your shows and heading into your favourite Foodland store. Week 2 is about to wrap up and we’re back with our Fringe Picks!

Oat Milk & Honey
Mo-Ko Piano & Circus is South Australia’s freshest creative company, co-founded by Filipino/Australian musician Nathan Chettle and Australian acrobat Amanda Lee. Oat Milk & Honey is a beautiful blend of poetic music and acrobatics that reflects on the raw human experience of anxiety.

Extracurricular
A show by teachers, for teachers, or anyone who has ever sat in a classroom. Get ready for 60 minutes of comedy-cabaret and be prepared to relate to this clever show by Expressions Media.

Retail Reality
South Australian, Amelie Peter’s cabaret show, ‘Retail Reality’ explores what it can be like to work in retail, and why it might not be for everyone.  She’s an award winning vocalist, performer, songwriter and accredited vocal coach. See her show on March 5, 12 and 13.

Holey Bin Amoley
Take the family along to this award winning, hilarious, kids comedy sketch show. Spread across five venues in South Australia, Holey Bin Amoley has a fresh new take on environmental education, one which is engaging, colourful and hands on, with an aim to inspire audiences to not only create change, but be excited to do so.

Comfort Food Cabaret
This one’s for the foodies! South Australian Michelle Pearson is a distinguished and award-winning cabaret performer, entertainer and vocalist who also works as a cook and caterer and is an accomplished producer, event manager and publicist. Enjoy an evening with Michelle and her musicians with this show filled with cooking, song and storytelling.
