Here are our top things to do in Clare Valley…
Experience the Riesling Trail
Arguably one of the best ways to experience the beautiful Clare Valley, the Riesling Trail was originally a railway line that travelled between Adelaide and Spalding. 35 kilometres long, the trail now runs from Auburn to Clare and is located two hours north of Adelaide. It is suitable for recreational walkers, mountain and touring bikes as well as wheelchairs and pushers.
The Riesling Trail travels past many cellar doors and other visitor attractions making it the perfect way to experience the region!

Cellar doors galore! Clare Valley is synonymous with fine wine (and great Riesling especially!). Boasting more than 50 cellar doors, with some operating out of historic stone cottages and heritage buildings, you’ll have your breath taken away by the gorgeous views and beautiful old buildings around the town.
Make sure to learn all about the history of wine in Clare Valley and take some time out to learn how the wines were created and experience the winemaking process.
And luckily for you, all cellar doors are within 40 kilometres of each other! So, the Riesling Trail will come in handy for this one.
